HI there

I have an eMac running OSX 10.3.9 with Quicktime pro and have downloaded some avi movies from the net but Quicktime wont play them or rather they play a white screen with no sound - a warning came up saying that quicktime didnt have the softaware to play the file back and may need additional software to play - the audio of the file is an mpeg layer 3 and the video says XVid. What can I do to play these videos? Can anyone help?

You need the DIVX codec. Here's the link to the Mac version:
