I use FloorPlan 3D at school and the app isn't available for Mac. Is there an alternative or another CAD that will read the .bmf files?

Floorplan3d can export dxf files, which you should be able to import into sketchup:

Sketchup is FAST and I love their toolbar. I have nightmares of using AutoCAD (not really) and Sketchup is like butter.

If only Maya3D was like that. I never even used the program before, I watched the demo at Macworld, then hopped right on and made a nifty 3 story building with a molded roof.

Fun fun!

Oh yeah, their freebie was a pair of socks that says: "Sketchup. Software that doesn't stink."
