I formatted my iBook, and after getting all the updates installed, I copied over amongst other things my Mail folder. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks in advance.

I clicked on Help in Mail.app and found this.

Where's my Outbox?
Mail only shows your Outbox when you have email waiting to be sent. Email messages appear in the Outbox when you attempt to send a message when you're working offline, or if Mail tried but was unable to send a message.

Once the Outbox appears in your Mail viewer windows, it remains visible until you quit Mail or close all of your viewer windows.


To edit an outgoing message or change the account you’re sending it from, double-click the message in the Outbox.

I saw that in help. But even when I save a draft, it doesn't appear in outbox. I even tried turning off the airport in my laptop so there was no internet connection... still no luck.

Saving Drafts has nothing to do with the Outbox. Drafts get saved in the Drafts folder.

Completely disconnect your iBook from all Internet connectivity. Type an email and click send. Without Internet access your mail send will be rejected and then you'll have your Outbox folder. The Outbox is where failed sends go waiting for a valid Internet connection or mail server connection. Has nothing to do with Draft emails.
