I have noticed that whenever I add a new user to my computer that user when opening Safari, gets the spinning beach ball. It stays there, then stops spinning. Once something is selected the cursor comes back. I have this same behavior on both of my computers ibook g4 and imac g5. both running tiger 10.4.4. The other users are standard & managed. I have Safari Stand installed for tabbed browsing, and that is the only "plug in" I use in Safari. Anyone hear of it causing odd cursor behavior in other accounts? This does not happen on my account, only theirs. Could there be anything else regarding Safari that causes this behavior? I thought it was only my imac acting weird, but I just took it into the shop to get looked at for fan noise, so I just added 2 new accounts to my ibook in the meantime for the wife and child, and immediately noticed the "non-spinning" beach ball in both accounts.

bump. no bites yet on my cursor behavoir. any ideas? is my safari not working properly? I looked in activity monitor and safari was using 300mb of my RAM. Seems way high. Camino is only using 50mb. restarting safari lowers the usage but that seems like a red flag something is wrong here. anyone?
