Our family has decided to use our .mac mail account as our primary email addresses (the aliases). We have Apple's mail application set up to check our .mac email accounts. Is there a way to set everything up so that an email shows that it was sent from one of the alias email addresses, as opposed to our default .mac address?

Yes, the e-mail aliases show up in the "Account" popup when you compose a new mail.

Another question: does anyone know how many aliases .Mac allows you to have? Also... I have tried deleting one of mine three different times in order to add another, but everytime I log out and back into my account the "deleted alias" is still there. What gives?

1. Tiger Mail shows all the aliases of your main .Mac account.

2. The last time I looked you get five, and there is a delay of some period between deleting one and getting to create another if you're at that limit.
