Hello,

I wonder - is it possible to use iWeb to publish to a host other than .Mac. The reason why I ask is that I have an idea for a semi-commercial blog/news site dedicated to a specific niche, with its own domain name, and the simple blogging and publishing tools of iWeb seem perfect for me.

If this isn't possible, does anyone have any other suggestions for a simple web publishing solution. Also, does anyone know a good and reliable host in the UK?

This is absolutely no problem. Here are the instructions for doing this if you use the FTP client Transmit:

http://www.panic.com/transmit/iWeb+Transmit/index.html

Of course it works with other FTP clients or Webdav access, too.

Thank you! - a perfect answer. So simple, yet I couldn't find it anywhere on Apple's support site. I guess those $99/yr are really keeping them afloat.

And here I was thinking they only made money from iPods...
