Hi all. My sister has long been a graphic designer and despite being very happy with Mac OS X, she is still labouring in Classic for one remaining problem.
Since starting design almos 10 years ago she has built up a large library of purchased typefaces. Many of these are in the Multiple Master format, including one, Myriad, which she continues to use regulary.
She is currently designing using Quark 6.5, which refuses to print the font, reverting to Courier on paper. Outputting to the printer using a PDF file often work, but is both laborious and unreliable.
This seems to be a known problem so I suspect no one will be able to offer a solution. However I did wonder if anyone knew of a utility to convert Multiple Master fonts into another format? One I am aware of it TransType by Fontlab which is expensive. If anyone reading owns this, or any other suitable software, are you able and willing to convert one single typeface for me?
Alternatively advice is equally appreciated.
