Messages (seemeingly randomly) remain the draft folder even when I send them. How can I stop this from happening?

It sounds like Mail isn't getting properly notified when a message is sent. I would suspect a server issue. How long has this been happening?

Your signature's neat, btw. . .

This occasionally happens to me too. I just delete the already sent drafts.

Thank You.

I'm not sure - a month or two. I upgraded to Tiger in November. I know it wasn't happening in Panther and am not exactly sure when it started but for sure it started under Tiger.

This occasionally happens to me too. I just delete the already sent drafts.
I delete them too. But it is annoying and confusing. Y'know on some level I'm always questioning whether they have been sent because they are still in the draft folder. I find that I'm checking the sent folder.

I'd like to find a way to stop it happening

This happens to me as well. I assumed it was some sort of IMAP problem--my computer is syncing properly or quickly with the server, but I'm not really sure if that is it.

It is quite annoying. Sometimes they stay for days, sometimes they delete themselves.

I wonder if apple knows about this problem.

It seems like a bug that needs fixing? And somehow reassuring to know it's not isolated to my PB.
