toast is great for taking, say, a 5 gig movie that's been ripped and put on a dvd. toast has that great compression setting that kicks in automatically

but i wonder if there is software out there that can accept more than 1 dvd for compression

toast can only take one, or the components of 1 ripped dvd

shadowburn and dvd2onex2 will accept more than one dvd but will not accept files totalling more than 4.3 gig

so is there a "toast" (which will compress down) that accepts files from more than one [ripped] dvd?

i've posted recently, and tried the stuff suggested (like shadow & dvd2) but so far no luck. a lot of programs don't seem to like working w/those [ripped] _TS type files
