Having no fonts manager app. other than Fontbook, and wanting to get rid of "unuseful" fonts, I installed Linotype FontExplorer and did "Clean System Fonts Folders". Now, in all the adobe CS applications all fonts other than latin fonts, when I key type in, appear as a ? mark, even tough they appear normally in the "glyphes" window.
Can I restore this ? and how?
I'm lost......what shall I do?

Are the fonts active in Explorer? I don't run Tiger yet as IMO it still has issues and no benefits for a prepress workflow, so that may be an issue. Have you used the tools to clean font caches?

Yes, the fonts are active. ex. Raanana or Apple Symbols font are active in FontExplorer, they do appear on the fontlist in inDesign but they don't work whithin the application, I get this wird rectangles.......
