Hi, hope somebody can give me a pointer as to how to take care of this little problem.
When I put my CF card into my card reader iphoto detects it and automatically assumes I want to use it to download my pics - I don't. It wasn't doing this until recently so I assume the change came along with a recent updatee or something like that.
I prefer to drag the files directly from the card into folders I've made.

Anyway....is there some way I can disable this feature?

Launch the Image Capture application from your Applications folder. In its Preferences, change the "When a camera is connected, open:" drop-down menu to "No application."
