Does anyone know a way or hack to "hide" the conventional Safari tabs bar? I ask this, because I'm using SafariStand's tabs, and I think that the two tab methods are redundant.

Uh, if you have multiple tabs already open then this doesn't make a bit of difference

Download and use OmniWeb which is what SafariStand tries (and currently fails) to make Safari into.
