G4 iMac, 800mhz, 768MB running 10.2.8

Drive partitioned into 2 parts. One is the main partition and the smaller partition is bootable and has Disk Warrior and TTP 4. The smaller drive partition is only used to run the utilities listed.

When booted from the main partition and running disk utility on the smaller partition, I get a message saying it can not unmount the partition because a process is in use. How can I use Process Viewer to find the process running on the smaller partition so I can kill it? If this can not be done, is there another way I can find out which process I need to stop?
