Hey all,
I could use some help here. I can't seem to get the RSS feed working on my page.
I've set a "blog" template as my homepage, renamed as "Home", and I left the "RSS Subscribe" button where it normally is.
I publish to my own site (
www.trickstergod.com), not .mac, so I publish my iWeb site locally to my "Sites" folder and then copy the contents over to my webserver through ftp. The site is named "trickstergod" in iWeb and it creates a folder in called "trickstergod" within my "Sites" folder. I don't copy that whole folder over, just so you know. I just move the "trickstergod" folder's contents directly over to my server's "public_html" folder.
Also when I publish to a local folder I make sure that the URL for the site is listed as "http://www.trickstergod.com"
The site itself works mostly fine. I don't like the fact that automatically redirects you to ../home/home.html, but that's another issue and I can live with it for now.
Anyhow, back to the RSS. After the site's been uploaded and working and all, whenever I test the "RSS Subscribe" button on the "Home" page, it gives me this message:
"404 Not Found
The requested URL /trickstergod/Home/rss.xml does not exist."
Why does it keep throwing in the extra "/trickstergod/"?
Any ideas? How do I get the RSS button to point to the correct file and location?
