Is there a way to disable or hide the scrollbar in Adium? I think it would look better, besides I can still scroll with the trackpad, which i use anyway. I tried looking in the plist but i couldn't find any value to edit.

Is this the scrollbar in the message window, or the scrollbar for really long contact lists? Both would require editing the code, but the latter would almost certainly be easier.

there's no easy way...hit the adium forums and ask the developers. They're on here sometimes, but you'll almost certainly find more help there.

And for what it's worth, I agree. The scroll bar ruins the appeal of a borderless window.

yea i meant the contact list.

also do any of you know if there is a message window skin or mod that makes it borderless too? For example, the smooth operator skin, it would be cool if it would just show the message bubbles and text field.

Have a look at AIListWindowController.h, specifically the AIAutoScrollView instance variable.
