I just got my MacBook Pro and tried to install Remote Desktop Admin on it...but I keep getting a message saying that I need to update it...though there are no more updates for it...any thoughts?

You need ARD 3. Unfortunately it's not yet shipping. Be patient, and (probably) be prepared to pay.

So wait, just to confirm, no ARD Admin/client support on any Intel Mac as of yet? Umm, that is a problem if true. Why won't it run in emulation Rosetta mode?!?

Appears to be the case....will not run on my MBP 2.0 running 10.4.5 or 10.4.6

I assume it won't run because it has hardware tie ins....but this is out of my element.

The client is there and works but the admin doesn't.

Wow, that really sucks. Is their any Apple documents that state this is indeed true and/or any more information on the next version of ARD? I cannot believe that Apple would be so quiet on this.

Well this is crappy! I paid for Apple Remote Desktop admin only a few months ago. Now I pay for an expensive MBP and all they is that it doesn't run and isn't supposed to? I want an update or a refund, geez!

FYI...in case you are interested in getting ARD Admin working on Intel Macs...

http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...60322114241519

Also, ARD Admin v1.2 works just fine as well.
