I've just got a MBP, which has iLife 06 bundled on it.

Can I install iLife 06 on my Powermac? Is iLife06 fair use for one laptop and one desktop or do I have to buy a copy of iLife06?

If I can install it on my Powermac, how do I do it?!

You are not supposed to install the OEM software that came with your MBP into any other computer.

However sometimes it is possible, have you tried those DVDs that came with the MBP? If you already tried, then it's not that easy.

Maybe using Pacifist though, nice software.

Now to think of it, probably the software on your MBP discs is Intel only, so you won't be able to put it on the PowerMac, or maybe they are Universal Binaries ... if only my MBP would arrive ...

I'm sure the iLife apps are all universal binaries - I think!

Can I just move the relevant pkg files from the Cds to my PM and run them?

I tried to get Pacifist as it looks damn useful, but can't connect to the Charlessoft site.
