I have:
an installer that comes in several CDs …

I want:
get those CDs in just one DVD disc …

I have tried with no avail:
- creating disk images (dmg and .cdr) with disk utility… I was not able to get those CDs as 'CDs' just folders… even when in some moment they got the proper CD icon they remain as folders.

- drag & drop all them (once mounted in my Desktop) to Toast 7, no luck, they are shown as folders again.

I am kinda in braindead mode now… any advice ?. Thanks.

You cannot burn multiple sessions onto a DVD. The spec currently doesn't support multiple sessions.

The only other option is to burn the UNMOUNTED disk images onto the DVD, meaning you have to mount them all when installing.

Note that some installers won't work from a mounted disk image, so you'd have to burn those onto CD anyway.
