I have a T-Mobile Sidekick (Danger hiptop) and have Mark Space's Missing Sync for hiptop. Because the hiptop only supports the standard time zones (US/Eastern and not America/Detroit), I need to set my calendar to use those zones. However, I cannot seem to do that, as while I used to have the US variants in the calendar under other on my old PowerBook, I now only have a map with America/Detroit, etc.

Can anyone tell me how to get those zones selected? Thanks!

Check your settings in Sys Prefs. Try selecting a time zone that is US/eastern and then fire up iCal. I live in Ohio and I have the US/Eastern setting.

Hmm, I can't seem to do that. All I can do is pick cities and when I enter "US/Eastern" in the text box and hit return, I just get the D.C. area. Thoughts? Here's an image of what I can pick:
