I have an iPod configured with my windows system and has around 2000+ songs on it. Now I bought my first laptop - MacBook Poro and when I hook my iPod to the laptop its popping up a message saying - this iPod is linked to another iTunes music library and its asking me if it can change the link and replace all my songs !!!!!

Is there a way I can copy my songs from my iPod into this MacBook Pro.
I visited an apple showroom and they suggested me that the only way I an get my songs onto this MacBook is to burn a CD (a couple of them) on my windows system and then copy them onto laptop. Is there a way I can do this with out burning CD's or using external harddrive...????
Can't I simply hook my iPod and copy songs from iPod to MacBook Pro ?

The idea is that songs only go one way - from your Mac to your iPod and not the reverse. However, there are workarounds, such as the one shown here.
