Hi all.

I just upgraded iTunes 4 to 6 (the latest one.)

OMFG!!!

This is the worst iTunes ever!

1. Amazingly ugly. Preferred brushed theme.

2. Can only resize to so narrow. I'm a minimalist and i have far too much space left empty. (AGGGHHHRRR!!!!!!)

3.STILL cant import wma files...

I'd still rather use itunes 2 that came with os 9 than itunes 6.
i'm getting out that panther install disc again.

You're a little late. The look changed when iTunes 5 was released. You'll get used to it.

I don't quite know what you mean by #2, but as for #3, well....iTunes has never been able to do this on the Mac, so I don't know why you'd be so disappointed that it doesn't in version 6.

I missed the brushed metal theme at first too but after a while I got sick of it.

brushed metal = blegh

i wish apple allowed users to choose from brushed metal and aqua in all their apps to allow individual users to be happy, i hate how i cant change safari's look without 3rd party software.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

You're not the only one, there is about other 99% Mac users who would appreciate it.

I didn't like the new look at first. Now I think it looks very nice. There are some things that don't work right, but these are long time issues (that blue bar in party shuffle looks like it came from X Public Beta).

Also, the new appearance looks about 200 times better on an LCD display than a CRT.

I don't suggest that you upgrade to iLife '06.
Personally, I really like the new brushed metal and hope it replaces existing brushed metal in Leopard.

Wait wait wait... You're claiming to be a minimalist, but you WANT huge sidebars? Why not just close iTunes's window all together and use Quicksilver to change songs and playlists and such? That'd be ultra minimalism.

Isn't the reason for iTunes not being able to play WMA files is because MS won't let them, unless they pay fees? I'm not entirely sure on that, but for some reason that's what I think I've heard.
