I have long relied on hot links in my signature sent by Mail app to draw people to my web site. Just today my wife draws my attention to the fact that they are NOT hot links.

Until now when I would type www.apple.com in the body of an email (Mail v. 2.0.5) the recipient would see an underlined hot link.

Now I have to type "http://www.apple.com" for Mail to convert it into a hot link.

Did I inadvertently change a setting somewhere? Has Mail changed?

Do you experience the different conversions for:
www.apple(dot)com
and
http://www.apple(dot)com
?

[ FWIW, I've been sending these via my .mac acct ]
