We are using QuarkXpress 6.5 with MAC OS X. When we link image files within Quark, everything appears fine. When we open the file again and try to print, Quark tells us that the links to the image files are missing. We recently moved the files to a Windows 2003 server and this is when the issue started appearing.

Have you changed the locations of both the Quark files and the images? What happens if you update the links, save the Quark file, then reopen it?

We moved both the image files and the Quark files to the Windows server. If you open the Quark file, the user is informed that the links are missing. We have even created new Quark files and linked them with existing image files and the same thing happens. It initially appears ok and the links are there and valid. But once you close the file, wait a little bit, reopen the file, the links are missing again. Permissions on the server are wide open. The user has permission (full control) to both the Quark file directory and the image file directory.
