I'm having some issues with Adobe Illustrator CS where my shortcuts do not seem to be working anymore. Some examples of what is not working:
  • option+dragging to duplicate
  • shift dragging corners to scale in perspective
  • using the space bar to navigate around the page

Has this ever happened to anybody else and if so, how did you fix it?

Do you have Entourage up and running when you are within Illustrator CS? If so, close it. Any better?

Okay, what other programs do you have open? Anything?

If you quit all of those, and then re-launch Illustrator CS, is the problem gone?

Wild, sorry man...I've only seen this issue with some 3rd-party application running in the background.

Yea, I can't figure it out. Of course my co-worker caused it somehow because nothing on the machine has changed and I can't even think what to type into Google to fix it.

Can you log in as another user and see if the problem happens?
