I have a intel imac 1.83GHz 512RAM and a copy of aperture. Aperture need a minimum of 1GB of RAM.

I found this searching the web but don't know how to use it

You need 1 GB of RAM and Tiger to run Aperture.
If you don't:

open the file info.plist (on the Aperture.app bundle)

and change this
<key>AELMinimumRAMSize</key>
<string>1000</string>

to

<key>AELMinimumRAMSize</key>
<string>700</string>

I can't find the file "info.plist"!!!

Where would it be located ( aperture is in my apps folder and the aperture.sit file in on my desktop) ???

Also how do i change it? when i spotlight info.plsit and click one of the matches it opens OmniOutliner can i do it with that?

Please Help -
Thanks alot

Aperture won't work on an Intel Mac anyway so don't even bother trying. You'll have to wait for the Universal Binary to be released first.

Also, don't bother running Aperture with only 512 MB or RAM. Apple insists on this minimum RAM requirement for a reason. Just do a search on `Aperture' in this forum and you quickly find out why
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
