I just got a new IMac with OSX 10.4 on it. I am running the latest version of ITunes. I am a bit unfamiliar with how ITunes handles MP3 files. ITunes found all my MP3s in my "Music" directory and then it seems to put a copy of them all in its own dir. Did it make copies thus making redundant MP3 files? I just want to know as I dont want duplicate files hoging up space on my hard drive. Thanks!

Do the files still exist in the Music Folder?
