I use Camino and love it. But how do I save flash files and things like YouTube videos through Camino. I know Safari can do it through its Window > Activity. then search for the file, copy-C and then go to Window > Download and then copy-V and voila!

But can I save flash movies in Camino?

MIght have to view the source for the page and do a search for "swf". Then copy the URL (sometimes it's only a partial url, i.e. - it might only say "/files/coolmovie.swf" in which case you would need to append that to the root URL). Once you have what you believe to be the full path to the file in the Location bar and hold the option key and press return. This will force the file to download.

Hope that came out intelligibly.

BTW - In Safari it's much easier to just option-double-click the file in the Activity Window to start the download.

I prefer the YouTube Video Downloader to others. And it's a freeware!

Youtube Video Downloader - flv to 3gp, flv to mp4, flv to ipod

The "bookmarklet" on the following page seems to work fairly well in FireFox:

Download YouTube & Google Video clips via bookmarklets
