There was a small application in my OSX 10.3.9 with wich I could edit pictures and to add effects and draw with my mouse. Something like "paint" in windows. Could someone remember me what is the name of that application and where is it?

It seems that it was not such a noob question after all.
I said for 10.3.9 most of what u recommended are for tiger. If I recall right it could have been appleworks that I used at that time, but now I can'r even locate AppleWorks.
Sorry, the way you wrote your first message gave me the impression that you had upgraded from 10.3. If it was AppleWorks, it will be an optional install on your Mac's system install/restore disks. I don't remember the mechanism for getting individual apps off the disks, but if there isn't e.g. a folder containing the installer for AppleWorks on those disks, you could try Pacifist to find and install it.
