I'm trying to create a Smart Folder in Mail to store all of my emails that are marked as junk mail.
I have about 10 accounts I keep track of in mail.app, ... seems like it would be an obvious one for them to implement, but i don't see how it can be done ..?
any suggestions?

Is there something wrong with the Junk Mail folder? As far as I know it will show your junk mail from all of your accounts as subfolders.

Like Mithras said, doesn't Junk Mail already do that?

If it's that you want a more complex set of rules for Junk Mail that's got you thinking about smart folders you can just add these rules to the standard filter. I've got mine marking all junk messages as read, too.
Hope that helps.

^^Try this.. Preferences -> Junk Mail -> "When junk mail arrives" ->Select "Move it to the Junk mailbox (Automatic)"

Thanks Visualize. I remember now! I had it on training mode because I only wanted mail.app to mark the message but not actually MOVE it to a different folder.
I'll just have it move into the Junk folder and move it back out to the normal inbox if it's not junk i guess.
the only problem is: what if I want to check my email remotely [configured a web-mail interface] but then mail.app which is always running, moves it out of my inbox and into the junk folder...? Then the mail won't show up on my webmail because it's IMAP.
any thoughts?

Then just setup a rule that says whatever is marked as junk mail is copied to your IMAP junk folder and then moved to the Mail junk folder.

that's the problem. You can't set up a smart mail box that says "when a message is marked junk" .....
