Sometimes I inadvertantly hit send before completing an email. How do I stop or cancel send before it is sent?

If it is not visible yet, press command zero to get the Activity Viewer, so you can clic on the Stop icon and cancel the e-mail being sent.

This is about the only thing I prefer about Entourage. I used to be able to push command-period to stop an email from being sent, but that doesn't work in Mail.

Sorry to hear I'm not the only one to feel this feature is poorly implemented
Simple Stop Send button would be nice. I also don't like my mail window to disappear immediately
upon send. I'd like the window to remain visable with some sort of progress bar.

I write the content of my message first, then address it last. This is especially helpful if I'm going to be working on several versions of a draft.
