As you know, Quicktime Player has a feature for recording (and encoding in realtime) any firewire video or iSight video directly into Quicktime. However, the features are limited. For real time encoding, you can only select two presets, one for H264 and one for Mpeg4 (both at 320x280) or you can use the Device Native feature which records at like 80Mbps.
Is there software which basically does the same thing but lets you customize it more? Choose a higher resolution, higher bitrate for h264 recordings, and so on?
