I just bought a SLVR and tried to connect it to my computer via iSync only to learn that my computer thinks that my new phone is my old phone and won't connect to it. I don't know that this is the case exactly, but this is what I'm assuming rather. I made my slvr discoverable, and then attempted to add a device in isync. Isync looks for a discoverable phone and then my old phone pops up as being found, but it says that it can't connect to it.
My old phone is in two pieces somewhere off in trash land so there is no way it's discovering it instead of my new phone. Furthermore, my new phone's name is not the same as my old phone's. (OLD: RAZR V3 - Cingular; NEW: SLVR L7 - Factory Unlocked).
Are there files somewhere that i can delete to erase the RAZR from isync and just start new? Or can I just delete and reinstall isync somehow? Might there be some other solution that would be easier?
