Hiya guys !

Yea, I'm having real trouble placing a background in word. I have designed my letter head in Photoshop on an A4 page and saved as a Jpeg. Then in word when I I apply it as a background it throws it on to a new document RELLY BIG ??? and all my text get shunted about to become really small on top.

There doesn't seem to be the same controls to make it fit an new document ?

Can any of you give any tips, I'm desperate to have this done for tomorrow !!!

Thanks Super techs !

Dan

Don't design your letter head in photoshop. Ever. If you really want to use a different application, use a vector-based app such as Illustrator.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Try fiddling with the resolution of the file (dots per inch) in Photoshop. Tell it not to resample the image, just change the resolution. I think it's in Image Size.
What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

BTW, I concur -- Photoshop for layout of a letterhead is not good! Give inDesign a go maybe?
