In AOL and Internet Explorer any Web Site page I pull up has the Web site address in small letters at the bottom of the page. So when I print it I have this info. How can I get Safari to add this information, always? Is this a major defect only in Safari?

Sheesh, lay off the end-of-the-world language!

In Safari, just go the View menu and choose "Show status bar".

Or to have it when you print out the page, select Filerint.
Then, in the print dialog sheet, select the third pop-up menu (that probably initially reads "Copies & Pages"). Select the "Safari" option.

Make sure that "Print webpage information in headers and footers" is checked.

Thanks, I didn't have the STATUS checked in the Safari View Menu. Unfortunately, it didn't change anything. Still have the problem. But, it's not the end of the world! Saint Bonny

Thanks, Can follow your good directions up to the last one "Make sure that "Print webpage info in headers and footers" is checked. I have nothing like this and no opportunity to check it.
There is a box "print backgrounds" but that does nothing.

Checking the STATUS BAR under Safari View header didn't help either.
I think the message saying "Lots of Luck" was the truest, and there is no solution.

The "Print webpage info in headers and footers" option is only available in Safari version 2.x with 10.4.x
So, it sounds like you are using an earlier version of Safari.

There is a shareware utility called "Saft" that adds several features to Safari.
It has an option to add the page address when printing.

http://haoli.dnsalias.com/Saft/Download/index.html
(Make sure you scroll down the page to find the correct version. You want Saft 7.7.7 for Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6).

Yes, I found Saft 7.7.7 on the haoli.dnsalias.com website, but can't get it as I am not a prior customer and entitled to their updates. Can't find ot how to buy this one item. Saint Bonny

This is my final message on getting safari to add the web page address at the bottom on the page so that it will be on my prints. IT NOW DOES IT. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SENT ME MESSAGES!
I don't know why. I think it was the change in the staus bar under view. But it didn't do anything for a day or two. Anyway Thanks to all again. I bought Saft 7.7.7, but don't think it was needed, but it may do other things. Saint Bonnie
