I am using Skype for phone calls and want to start video calling. I have a Logitech camera, connected to USB. As it's connected to USB rather than by firewire I had some problems using it with ChatAV

As Skype doesn't support video for Macs, what's the best solution? Do I need to get my contacts to download Yahoo or AIM Instant Messaging?

Thanks

You can video chat using iChat if the other side is using AIM 5.9 (not AIM Triton) or Trillian Pro. You could also use Yahoo Messenger, but it's video only without audio.

iChat requires an iSight or other Firewire webcam. It won't work with a USB camera.

Isn't there some kind of 3rd-party USB enabler for iChat?
