Hello all, I am having a problem with iTunes (latest version on 10.4.6).
A couple of the local radio stations do live audio streams of their broadcasts for free, so I figure they would be a nice thing to throw into iTunes (I have a playlist of audio streams that I have added to itunes, such as Gothan Radio which are not in the "radio" stations listed OEM in itunes under "radio").
So what I did was I went in safari, loaded the stream- saved it as source, which gave me a .asx file.
I then went into Quicktime, loaded the .asx file and saved it as a .mov stream.
I then put the .mov file into my music partician (yea, I know- I have that many mp3s...) and added it to the iTunes library.
It works, I can listen to it- that is not the problem.
The problem is that iTunes thinks each stream is 596:31:23 in length (wow), so the bottom of the iTunes window which lists how many days, hours, minutes and seconds of audio you have is no longer acurate by any means (lists 87 days, 11 hrs and change when it should be more like 13/14 days and change).
How do I do this while maintaining an acurate "length of audio" listing?
