Yeah, disappointing, especially since I expect the new 13" MacBook/Pro to get an iSight.

But hey... One step at a time...

There is probably no significant Mac-team left after eBay took over. The development of the Mac version has been stagnating since then.

Well, they did release the UB. If what you said was true, then we wouldn't even have that, since apparently the PPC version worked thru Rosetta.

Here's hoping for video support this year now that the UB has been taken care of...

P.S. When did eBhey take over?

According to Wikipedia:
On October 14, 2005, eBay completed its acquisition of the company for €1.9 billion (about $2.4 billion USD) in cash and stock, plus an additional €1.5 billion (approx. $1.8 billion USD) in rewards (earn out) if goals are met by 2008.
I also read on the same page:
Skype is a proprietary peer-to-peer Internet telephony (VoIP) network, founded by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, the creators of KaZaA, and competing against established open VoIP protocols like SIP, IAX, or H.323.
I was under the impression that Skype was a "good" product, but if it's made by the creator of KaZaA-spyware, and is not even open-source, there's no way I'm gonna encourage it, as I intended to.

Sweet. Universal just in time for the MacBooks.

Now I just need MS Office and Photoshop UBs.
