What's the best way to save a website for offline viewing at a later date?
For example, is there an app or extenstion for firefox that i can save the MACNN forums for offline viewing while I'm out and about?

You can click "file", "save page as", and then change the save format to "all files".

You're welcome.

IE has a function to save as an archive with a setting to also save pages that the page links to (not sure how deep). Of course, you're then locked into IE for viewing it...

BTW, I don't understand how Cache behaves in most browsers, I wish it did like iCab does where I can choose between online mode and offline mode to browse sites…

iCab's online mode activated

iCab's offline mode activated

It is annoying to clic on back or forward button and have the page being reload 'again'… is such behaviour as expected or am I missing something there?

i wish there was offline cached viewing in Safari. that is the only thing i miss from IE. And also, the save page as feature sucks in safari. it only saves raw text and some formatting. crap.
