Yes, I got the message... Mac is better than PC... I have seen all the ads, and I have even email one of the ad into my Windows friend... now, can someone tell me is that an easy, conveinent way to disable the Apple quicktime movie ad on apple.com home page? It's chewing up my bandwidth unneccessary, and use up my CPU cycles on my slow Mac for 30 seconds (while the ad is played). Is there ways that I can stop that ad playing, without removing the Quicktime plug-in or something drastic? I use SeaMonkey as my web browser.

Go to your quicktime preferences, go to the Browser tab and uncheck "play movies automatically."

Is there a way to apply it only to apple.com? I don't mind autoplay on web pages, except for the Apple web site at the moment.

Send Apple an e-mail saying how much the movie sucks on the front-page. Send it multiple times for emphasis. And use "strong" words in your statements.

I didn't mind them at first, but as of today, I'm officially fed up with them. I tried to send a Safari feedback to Apple, and used their homepage as the URL as it was a generic bug, but their video brought the entire browser to a crawl and I was unable to type my message until it was loaded properly, and it was jerky...
And if one auto-start movie was not enough, I discovered a little surprise on their trailers webpage... (non-switch-related, but still)

Either Apple do read and react to your Safari comments quickly, or Steve Jobs actually do read my post here... Apple has changed the web page... now it features MacBook instead! ! !
