I have a G4 (agp) powermac with a ati rage 16mb agp card

I am using virtual pc 6 with windows xp and under device manager - it lists an S3 Trio garphics controller

is there any way to get virtual pc to recognise my ati card?

No, since VPC runs under OSX it cannot access the hardware directly. That also means implications with direct-x (doesn't work).

This has been one of the long running complaints about VPC and if you need to do any serious work with a PC it was always recommended that you buy a cheap PC, now of course with bootcamp and the mactels that argument is thrown out the window (pun intended)
