hi guys,

i have a web site with an admin area. in the admin area, i can edit the content, and i basically just type into a little box like this on forums. in the little content editor box, it uses java coding to display a font, size, bold, italics, ect. box -- problem is, this box shows up on my PC but not on my MAC.

i've talked to a few people and they're saying it's due to the MAC's browser not having java enabled in its browser preferences ... can anyone help me with how i can 'turn on java' in my preferences? i use AOL...

This sounds more like a JavaScript issue (not Java) with rich text editing. If you use AOL as your browser, that might well be your problem. As far as I can tell, rich text editing works in Safari 2.0.3 and it should also work in Firefox. Try one of these browsers. Both Java and JavaScript are by default enabled on any browser for Mac.
