Hi I'm looking into by a Mac Book and have a few questions about apps, yes I am a student.

1. What the best calendar/ organizer app mac has and what is it called, VS any PC cal apps
2. If I boot camp two OS on the mac book and I save a word file in the mac OS can I open it in the XP OS without putting it to an external drive.
3. Any suggestions as to MAC or PC calendar apps that own for students is needed, I hate out look,

1. You can either use Microsoft's Entourage (which is the equivalent of Outlook) or iCal. Personally I use iCal.
2. Yes.
3. Try iCal. That's what I've used to get through university.

Oh, and iCal comes for free with the OS.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I used ical in school as well. I downloaded a few calendars from the web to fill in holidays etc. I also sync it with my ipod.
