I ran all of the latest updates for my Intel 20" iMac (OSX 10.4.6, SMC Firmware, Security Updates, iLife Updates) and now when I run the LAME encoder script for iTunes, my computer crashes. I can still move the mouse, but I can't click on any of the applications or dock items and must reboot. I tried doing some of the basic troubleshooting steps (repair permissions, clear cache, delete preferences, clear PRAM...) but nothing has helped yet. Any ideas I can try? This problem really sucks for me because I'm in the middle of re-ripping all of my CDs. Is there a way I can revert to some of the old software before the update like iTunes 6.0.3?
