I work with iMovie and at the end decided to burn a DVD, so I did and everything was doing great and suddenly the beach ball of hell start spining in themiddle of the screen, and it's been there for almost half an hour... is this normal? do I got to force quit? what do I do, just wait?

thanx

If it's encoding audio, it will do that and also say "not responding" in Activity Monitor.

Totally normal behaviour even if not very user friendly.

With iDVD, the best rule is to be patient. Encoding DVDs takes a looong time, even with the fastest processors available.
