Hi,

I'm considering going and buying a webcam so I can video chat with friends that use Windows. They use AIM Triton and I use iChat. We have been able to do audio chats with no problem, but I'm wondering if the same can be said for video chats. I have heard that Triton and iChat wouldn't do video chats, but is this still the case?

Any help would be great!

trilon and ichat are suppose to be able to connect (trilon Pro). Check the apple support discussion forums for the links to help you set-up.

^ can anyone confirm if the latest trillian can video chat with iChat users? I know that Triton (AOL, latest version of AIM) can NOT video chat with iChat users.

I have certainly used iChat AV on my Mac to talk to my brother using Trillian Pro using Windows on many occasions. Not done it for a couple of months if there has been a change to TP in that time...
