I don't know if anyone tryed this before but i found an easy way to export my contacts from my palm desktop to my Adress Book.
I just went to FILE > EXPORT. In the window that opened i selected to export adress (in module) in vCard format.
In adress book i went to IMPORT>vCARD and choosed the file that palm desktop had created.
And then all my contacts in my palm is now in my adress book. During the process ther were some contacts that i alredy had in my adress book contacts and it prompted me to ask waht to do: update/keep both.
I found it an easy way to "sync" my contacts.

PS: in adress book i was able to creat smart groups as i organized my contacts in my palm because when the contacts are imported they show what group they belonged in palm...
