My ichat wont hold a connection but all of my other internet applications work fine. any ideas???

What machine / OS are you using?
Did iChat ever work for you, or is this a recent problem?
Have you recently made any changes to your system?
When you say 'wont hold a connection', is that text, voice, video? All of them? Can you connect at all? For how long? Is it a problem with all connections, or just some?

im running a powerbook with the spec in my sig. with Tiger. the problem is after i log onto ichat i will lose my buddy list after aabout 15--20 mins saying i lost connection with the host. my bonjour will still run and so will safari and any other internet application. i dont know if its just a bug or what. Thanks for the help.

It's not one I've seen - are you running anything 'odd' as well? Does iChat restart ok, or does it have trouble from that point on?
