It was announced a couple of months ago that Pro Tools 7 would be Intel-native, but it's now finally available:

Pro Tools 7.1.1

So, one of the bigger Intel Mac hurdles is now gone. Too bad Photoshop's UB won't be out until 2007. At least it runs on Intel though, as does Quark, which is coming soon. Office on Intel is not a big problem IMO.

P.S. Pro Tools 7.1.1 is an Intel-only binary. It is NOT universal. PowerPC users install a different binary.

And here I was thinking they wouldn't be able to get it out in May like they had said. Looks like I can order that new iMac now...
