I remember seeing ages ago a program that could get mail to display the red notification star on its dock icon for mail that is automatically sorted into different folders.
Does any one know where I can find this, or if I am imagining this?

Thanks

You could use Smart Folders if you're on 10.4.

Smart Folders wouldn't really move the files but only show you the ones that meet a certain criteria.

I have a MacNN one that shows me all the e-mails from MacNN and nothing else.

You may be thinking of DockStar.

I saw that dockstar but I dont think thats what I remember. The program just displayed the same red icon any time there was new mail in the program regardless of location. This seems like a feature that mail should come with by default. Anyone know the reasoning for this behaviour?

Also i do have tiger and could use smart mailboxes, but I was also looking for a friend who has panther so any extra help appreciated
