I got the vlc player installed on my macbook. Opened up a .wmv file and only get audio. Anyone know why or how to fix?

VLC can't play modern wmv files. There is no fix.

Is there anything out there that can play them on a MB? Without installing Windows that is.

I was told that those will not work on an intel Mac. This is so confusing.

As I understand it you just tell the apps to open in Rosetta, same as Classic. That doesn't work?
